The Education, Enterprise and Employment Theme is responsible for developing services in these thematic areas.

In our first five years we invested around £500,000 a year in our local schools. The Stamford Hill Performing Arts for Cultural Enrichment project achieved Ofsted beacon status and the Nesta Murray won the prestigious national Head Teacher of the Year award for her role in the innovative Peer Mediation Project.

Employment, Enterprise and Education Theme Logo In terms of enterprise we have set up 78 new businesses and supported another 168. Unemployment in the area has been significantly reduced.

The Education, Enterprise and Employment Theme holds regular meetings and these are where prospective projects are proposed for the consideration of the local community.
