Chestnuts Park Improvements Launch Party

Following many years of effort to bring partners together, develop a Strategic Plan for the park and line up funding streams, substantial improvement works are now well underway in the park. This includes the new extensive playground, Multi-Use Games Area, the greening of the north-east corner, improvements to the area around the cafe, and new pathways along the west-side of the park (including an additional entrance for cyclists at the north west corner). The playground has been completed and is very popular already! All the works should be completed by April. To celebrate and launch these new works, and to promote greater usage of the improved park, the Chestnuts Park Strategic Group is organising a Launch Party on May 10th.
