Partnerships Activities

Description: The project is essentially a communications project and as such is cross-thematic. The PAF states that the project aims to involve the community in the NDC Programme by engaging all sections of the community directly in the work of the Theme areas and with local agencies delivering services.

The project will contribute towards the achievement of all Bridge NDC outcomes by supporting 1) partnership working, 2) community engagement and consultations, 3) communications and publicity, and 4) corporate and thematic events such as community events and theme meetings.

The project has the following objectives, as specified in the PAF:
To develop mechanisms for succession that will ensure longer term sustainability of benefits through NDC projects.

To increase the good reputation of the NDC partnership, so that residents and partners recognise the improvements made by the NDC in the neighbourhood.

Funding will be used:

To develop and implement an NDC succession strategy;
To resource the production of the annual Delivery Plan and Annual Report, the quarterly newsletter for residents, the NDC website and a monthly brief for NDC board members and Councillors; and To support specific Theme events and project launches in addition to supporting NDC activities at the annual Tottenham Carnival.
